NET ZERO AGENDA 2050 - SÃO PAULO STATE GOVERNMENT
The State of São Paulo, when compared to Brazil and many countries, has low greenhouse gasses emissions – about 3.4 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent per capita annually (2019 data) or 150 million tons in total. However, the Climate Action Plan achieves zero emissions, seems. a great opportunity for a green revolution to recover from the economic and social impacts in the post pandemic world.
2ND EDITION OF THE ACCELERATION PROGRAM
For three months, 20 SMEs with highly innovative solutions to tackle challenges identified by the State of Sao Paulo in line with their Climate Action Plan will engage in a series of curated matchmaking and capacity building activities with a cohort of 15 SME from UK to take part in this Impact Acceleration Programme with the view of establishing equitable innovation partnerships.
Working with Connected Places Catapult (CPC), the British Consulate and InvestSP, we will promote many online activities, mentorships with our specialists community and connection with stakeholders from Brazilian Government, innovation ecosystem and partners.
